    1. you must have craftskill (lvl 1 after you accept a crafting guild)
    2. select it and type /controll
    3. shoot with it :)

Buy 1 onager coin from seigemaster, and (1) 20 onager bullet coin.

Hand the onager coin to him, then the bullet.

He'll follow you to where you want to place it.

Right click on him, and click the bracketed text to make him drop it, and the 20 bullets.

do a /control release and then /control again while selecting the onager to bring up the panel (I have to do this anyway, you might have it automatically).

You have to have at least 1 skill point in seige craft to operate.

    Click on Arm.

When it's done loading, drag 1 bullet and click it on the onager itself.

    Click load.

When it's done loading, hold F5, and choose your ground target with the arrow keys/mouse.

    When selected, click aim.

Then the funnest part out of the whole thing.

    FIRE!!!!

    Onagers are great fun.
I used em with Oddie, my RM, in bg1. When albs camped MPK.
My record so far for numbers hit in 1 shot, is 8 albs, killed 3 of them.
Most damage was 910 on 1 person. He was stood right on the ground target.

By the way you can move ground target up and down with the keys you normally use to tilt your camera view while holding F5 - useful for targetting keep walls.

Apparently the roller thingie on your mouse should also do this but it doesn't work for me :-(

They do that in BG0 too? lol they were kind enough to do that for me in BG1... You should try /groundassist it works superb with another person when you want to fire at the other side of CK or AK and can't see over the hills
