Repairing/Upgrading Doors
Is this OK in this section?
Anyway, just took part in my first keep raid in Thidranki battleground, and we eventually took the keep. I volunteered to make the ram, so I got to stand there getting peppered with arrows, while various people remembered they had the parts, and brought them to me. At least I got a raise in siegecraft skill to 2.
Anyway, after we took the keep, turned out I had the highest woodworking skill, so I got to upgrade and repair the doors. It fooled me at first, because I'd start repair, and then it would say you can't repair any more, but the door's bar wasn't full. Is it normal to take a half dozen tries to get it fully repaired. My WW skill is 529 btw. Then, I'd upgrade the door, and it needed more repairs again. Never did get the outer doors repaired all the way, once I got it to lvl 5, I kept failing the repairs, and also ran out of wood (of the 1000+ ironwood that people kept giving me).

Yep, sounds about right. A successful repair tells you that you can't repair any more, fixes about 5% health, and waits for you to try again. It's not a very intuitive message.

Re: Repairing/Upgrading Doors
Speaking of which, are keep doors supposed to reset to level 1 after a server down? I spent about a half hour and over 1000 ironwood boards repairing and upgrading the central keep doors in Thidranki the other day, and when I went back after the patch, it was back to level 1.
