Why level up siegecraft??
After reading some of this board yesterday, I went ahead and made some ammo and quickly leveled my siegecraft up to 28 while I was waiting for guildies to join me in Gna Faste. Later I got into a discussion with some realm mates about leveling up siegecraft and what it does for you. They claimed it didn't do anything for you and I really couldn't see the benefit either. Is there something we're missing here on why it's worthwhile to level up siegecraft? Or is it not worth it?

Re: Why level up siegecraft??
As you gain skill in siegecraft, you will get fewer "you fail to assemble the <insert siege weapon here>". This means you can get that ram up in one try instead of 5.
Also, when you finally hit 51 siegecraft, all of the siege weapons will be grey to you and will go up in half the normal time.
IMHO these are the best two reasons to level up siege.

You can also craft your own catapult/ballista ammo. Helpful if your realm doesn't control a merchant keep and you want to have one of those weapons.
