Lucan wants you to take the branch that Ciar drops to the Druid trainer, Torrance. Torrance lives in Ardee, in front of one of the buildings. loc 54642, 49959

Apparantly they fixed this part. I was never given an option to accept or decline this quest, and my quest journal was blank, but when I returned the branch to Torrance, I got 1,290xp.
