DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Talk to Inaksha (Dwarf) in Haggerfel. She will tell you to go to Fort Atla with the map and talk to Salevia (Kobold) in the bar. Say [Inaksha] to her and then give her the map. She will tell you to find Niswen, Fressen's brother, and talk to him. Say [Fressen's map] Niswen is NW of Galplen, East of Spind and close to the northen Road Branch in Myrkwood Forest. loc=35600,13000 Talk to him three times. At the third time he challenges you. Kill him (green at 25) and his friend, Raslen (grey at 25), to get the map. Return to Fort Atla and Salevia. She will give you the translation and send you back to Inaksha in Haggerfel. Give Inaksha the map and you will get your reward. Rewards: Rewards: |

Go to the WW fort, go south around the lake until you come to the Entrancing Dirges. Just off the shore a bit under a tree, is where Niswen stand 26k, 62k (Myrkwood). Go up to him, and right click on him twice, it will say something about him being distracted, and now you have his attention. Type "/s map" and he will go through more stuff, just keep clicking till he attacks you. Kill him, and he drops the map into you're inventory, now return to Ft Alta and talk to Salevia again. Easy :)

Hi all :) I can't speak with Inaksha .. I'm a troll lvl 25 shaman (i hope lol) . Is this quest bugged ? Or does this dumb dwarf dislike trollies???

You have to click on Niswen twice. The first time he says something to the fact of listening to the dirges. The second time you click on him he says you have got his attention what do you want. With the main tab clicked you have to say somthing out loud about his brother's map (check journal for exact wording). This will start the challange. Then he and his friend will attack. Both grey at thirty level.
Please note he has to attack you. I got frustrated trying to figure this out and killed him and his friend and didn't get the map. I ended up having to wait for them to pop again to complete. But it was fun to kill them twice.

Did this with Shaman and got very nice gauntlets. +6 piety, power and mana I think. Gauntlets conned yellow to a 28 shaman and niswen was green. Once again cant be 100% certain my info is right but the loc I think is 26,62. Just past the werewolf fort and along the edge of the pond till you see him.

Ok, I have gotten past this point and had to go back to Inaksha at lvl 30. I am now looking for Gashir or the princess. I have looked around

I managed to get off a speed debuff by casting on Niswen just seconds prior to accepting his dual. You can do this fairly easily if your timing is right. Just FYI.

After trying /say /whisper /talk and just /some words for 15 minutes I made a macro of /say niswen and clicked it 75 times with him selected and 75 times with him not selected. I was standing next to him the whole time then I gave up.

How do you talk to someone in this game? You right click on them ... try that.

For those having trouble, I suggest reading the directions in your journal, they tell you exactly what you need to do, including what you need to say. Just make like a monkey and follow directions, this is not a very intellectual game.
As for con and stuff, Niswen was green at 26, and Raslen was grey. Having all of my buffs (lvl 11 aug), they were not very hard; no special techniques needed, just whack away.

I started the quest in haggerfel, but could not give the map to Salevia. I did tell her that 'Inaksha sent me', she still will not take the map. Any ideas on how to restart the quest, I stillhave the map.

Both of them conned blue to me at 25 ... and you can't step back to slow them or stun them ... you have to be close to talk to him.
When you accept the challenge he summons his friend. You only need to kill Niswen. I did so and ran and got it done anyway. He was still easy to solo at 25, even blue and with his friend beating on me.
