Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Starts at your healer trainer in Jordheim she sends you to Inaksha in Haggerfel, She will send you to Gorne in Audilten, who sends you to Kjell in Vasudheim. He will tell you of a book of lore that only he can open, and that the Vendo Prugor has it.Prugor is found wondering between the 2 vendo camps west of Fort Veldon, between LOC=26475, 30170 and 26,500 by 11,400. He is not a stationary spawn, he does roam. [Step 1] Seek out one called Inaksha. She can be found in the town of Haggerfel. She knows much regarding the Rod of Mimir, and often has visions. Inaksha says, "I am so glad you have come to me. You see, I hve an [amazing story] for you." Inaksha says, "There was once a time, long ago when this world was ruled by the hands of the gods. Oh yes, the Aesir and Jotun were very prevalent in this day in age. It was a time of myth and legend, young one. For I can see it in my visions. My visions extend long into the past, during [ancient] times, and I see into the murky future. For it is our past and our future that make us who we are." Inaksha says, "I see a man, wearing priestly garb, he is holding a great staff and waving it. For which direction the staff points is uncertain. If waved at the field, that field grow. If waved at an opposition there is ending. However the direction the staff points now is uncertain. It is lost to me, even though there may be great suffering or great joy this staff must be found. I do not know what it mean, [my visions] of this time are so fuzzy." Inaksha says, "Perhaps the scholar Gorne can make sense of these visions. Please, [find him]. He may be the only person who can unravel this mystery for me." You have been given the Rod and the Scholars quest. Inaksha says, "Last I heard he was studying texts found in Audliten." [Step 2] Seek out the Scholars, perhaps their studies into the ancient cultures of Midgard can shed some light on the Rod of Mimir. (BEGIN THE ROD AND THE SCHOLARS QUEST HERE) [Step 3] Return to Inaksha in Haggerfel when you have reached 20th level |
