Besides not having any animation at all (lazy bastages at Mythic!) volley seems to give you the draw time with 0.1sec resolution, and it seems to be exactly double your normal shot draw time (or very close to it) - so you can use it for testing shot draw times. Oversight? Maybe, let's abuse it while we can ;)

Besides that, volley has really long range. And I mean really long, I can easily shoot at targets outside my character clipping range. The downside is, I can't shoot at people on door 2 in keeps, it's too close. Also, volley hits all "bow hittable" targets near your groundtarget. That means it hits wards and such also.

Hunter volley group assisting conventional rvr group sounds like a WTHPWN combination. We could try something like this as allegiance rvr (because it seems hunters are here to stay Smiley)

Well i wanna see that 8 hunters with volley behind apk shooting to pad when albs port in Smiley it would be massacre Smiley no more buffbots for albs either.

You don't even need volley to assist a "normal" group effectively, as long as they're in range. If the enemy doesn't know you have a hunter squad out there their casters tend to stand in pretty vulnerable formation and you can easily see who are the ones casting heals (especially hib heal spells are easy to notice, lots of hand movement), it really disrupts the fight when multiple hunters start shooting your healers down...
