DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Note: You must complete the entire Red-Dagger quests before getting this one. Im a Thane, and I needed to go to Gythja of Bragi. She said to go to the smith Dahn again in Audliten to get a charm. When I got the charm I went to kill Seer of Ancient Dawning in the center of muspelheim. She is located in the Giant's Castle. When entering muspelheim follow ravine to the right. Loc: 52359,48781 (at the bridge that leads to a castle with giant guards for it) You need to wear the charm when you kill her! After killing her you get a axe. Next step is to find out its secret. Just wear the axe and it starts speaking. After that go to a Dverge Smith. loc: 22610,53939 When you go west from that bridge you will come to another bridge with a house or ruin. In the are dwarves and one of them is the smith. I gave him the axe and charm and I got gloves. Then go back to Gythja of Bragi to finish the quest and you get 4,XXX,XXX exp and 1gp. Rewards: Gauntlets of the Tempest -- Thane Serrated Skull-slicer -- Berserker War Ravager's Hauberk -- Warrior Mantle of the Valhallan -- Skald Blood-dyed Vest -- Savage Gloves of the Tempest -- Valkyrie Rewards: |

Hmm I just got the quest by first going to Hugginfel and talking to Kol the smith there, he told me to go see Dahn in Audlitten. Dahn is sending me on a quest for three items. At what point do I get the charm?

i made to the keep, killed the fire giants but i can't get in. how do you get inside to get the axe?

Well to get the axe to speak to me, I placed it on my hotbar and "used" it and then equipped it. Once I did that it spoke to me something like: return me to my maker, i choose who wields me.
My journal was updated with the following:
Step 22: Bring axe to the dverge smith who forges weapons from the fires of Muspelheim. If you do not have good faction with the dverge, you may gain it by killing charred skeletons or pyrotasms.
This is as far as I have gotten as of today. Am going back to finish it now.

The Seer is a bit West of the location given. She is actually ON the bridge, you need to go past it, up hill to the NE to avoid the trolls. From above you can see her, You'll have to kill a troll guard to get close to her.

I went to the forge and tryed to hand the axe over to the smith but he wouldnt except it. also im lv 30 and got agged pretty good, so i tryed to give it to him on a suicide mission hehe, he still wouldnt except the Axe what lv should i be to give it to him?

They were agro to me @ 50, i just handed the smith the axe while i had my gem on, then gave him the gem... btw, THE SMITH IS NOT A NAMED, he is a simple dverge smith =) right beside the forge
btw u have to kill the Seer with the yggdra gem on...
i killed like 5-10 pyrotasm's and got faction from agro to neutral... after that.. heh

hehe LOL I still had bad faction went in there as lvl 40 warrior the whole house came at me i just stod there gave the smith the stuff and wolla DONE :) and after that I ganked every1 except smith haha LOL

i'm a LvL 30 Thane, and i killed the seer, but the axe won't speek to me,..
i killed even creatures with it, but the damn thing stays quiet,...
do i 'have to put it on right after i killed the seer, or what??

I have got the Thane's Blood but cannot give it to the diverge smith - he just will not take it. Do you have to be friendly to the diverge to give it to him?

Glad to see I am not the only one. Gothi of Bragi says nothing and my quest does not update when I speak to her of Thanes blood. What gives?

Wear the charm, then hand him the axe. Once he has the axe, hand him the charm. Confused me, too, at first. )

The dwaeves were aggro for me, but while battle i gave the smith Charm and axe. I got the gloves and the next step. But Gythja of Bragi makes nothing. I do the curtsey again, make myself a monkey in front of her, but nothing... do I have to tell her something?

I'm a level 30 berseker and just finished this quest... Berserkers get a nice off hand axe "Serrated Skullsplitter", stats are something like 10.5dps, 3.8 delay (left hand usable). Adds to left axe and str i believe. When you return the Gythja you get 4,XXX,XXX exp and 1gp
