DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different 04.06.05 Per Patch 1.75: - The Red Dagger - Joseph Domr can now be found in Gotar, near Fort Atla. Korban now resides somewhere in Gotar as well. - The Red Dagger - Korban and her seithkona sisters have relocated to Gotar. Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Received after lvl 20 by all Viking base class characters After you hit level 20, speak again to Genlu Edrill in Haggerfel. He states that he feels you are strong enough, and that the Red Daggers number among them one of the Seithkona. He asks you to seek out this Seithkona, named Korban, SW lake in Gotar. She spawns at night at loc=5883, 55760, 4843 dir=346 She conned blue at level 20, and is a caster. When you kill her, you receive a scroll of the seithkona, and are instructed to return to Jordheim and tell the Gythja of Bragi that the scroll of seithkona is with the red daggers. Talk with her and she will send you to see Lynnleigh again, and to ask her about Thane's Blood. Lynnleigh, shocked by this question, states that you are too young to ask of this, and need to learn more before she will tell you. Official hint: Players stuck on step 8 that have handed the scroll to the NPC but can't continue just need to tell her the [red daggers have the scroll of seithkona] to be able to continue. Even if she's asking for the scroll, just tell her this. Ok.. i finished level 15, got the Thane's Blood Axe and would like to go on to the Level 20, but no one will talk to me now... the journal still shows Level 15, saying only "Find the secret of Thane's Blood". Doesn't say who to talk to or where to go?????????
I tried going back to the priestess in Jord, the Smith Genlu in Haggerfel, and even the Smith Dahn in Auditlan... but nothing...

ive went to lynnliegh the first time went away as was intructed to gain more exp and wisdom when i return and click on her all i get is she is friendly

I've checked and rechecked that I am indeed in the NE corner of the ravine at 54668, 10032, and there are no standing stones even remotely nearby. I've been MILES in every direction and can't find standing stones or anything anywhere? What's going on?

I am having the same problem. I did the quest at lvl 21 and when I talked to Genlu Edill in Hagger, he tells me I need more strength and wisdom? Is there something wrong with this? How can I go on? Anyone know?

For all the people out there that are getting the message they are not strong enough and they are. All you simply need to do is talk to Genlu a second time. I had the problem so I just right clicked on him and it fixed everything.

I just pulled off this quest on Mordred. The gauntlets were actually +4,+4,+4 Respectively. Easy breezy at level 23.

The Gythja of Bragi is not a trainer, she is one of those priests that stand around in the big temples in Jordheim. Off the top of my head I forget exactly which temple she is in, but since there are only *two* in the city a search should not take you long.

I have stood outside of the hill with the stones on it various times. Korban has never spawned i was wondering if thios was an error casue of the new patch or if she is a ery rare spawn? If there si some way to mkae her spawn please tell me.

I did not give the scroll to the Bragi and now I can't since I am on step 9, talk to Lynnleigh. Well after 2 hours waiting for CSR to reset step 8, I finally just talked to lynn and got my XP and sleeves. Don't know what I missed out on, but was still able to complete level 20 part. If someone can post the result of turning in scroll, I can see what I missed. WTS scroll...hehe

Well the Quest said Korbin but the one I killed was Korban and he stands in the middle of the circle (Loc 54700, 10200). He wont spawn if you stand in the circle.
He spawned at 16.00 gametime. But I also think he spawns at 23.00 but I was in the circle at that time.
I got a scroll which I should deliver too Gythia of Bragi in Jordheim.
Easy to kill at Lvl 21 Skald.

Yes ALL characters have epic quests NOT just thanes. We all get ones at lvl's 15, 20, 25, and 30 (30 isn't listed here because no one has submitted anything for it). At lvl 30 the epic quest ends.

I'm a lvl 20 Warrior. I didn't do Part 1 of this quest. So now I can't do Part 1 or 2. Is that right?

The red dagger quest is part of an epic quest. You must complete the first steps.
You must complete the lvl 11 quest to go to 15 quest, than you can do the 20, then the 25, and lastly there is a lvl 30 portion that ends the quest and isn't listed here. It is called an "epic quest" because it involves several quests over many levels to finally complete.
BTW- you get a major weapon quest at lvl 40 also. (nothing at 35)

After gaining lvls, visit the chick back on the island outside vas. She instructs you to speak with the smiths of the realm. I spoke with one, which directed me to Dahl in Audlitten. Dahl sends you looking for items in Yggdra, but I found them in Upplands- Chisler venom, Cold light soul, and hurry hide. All can be found straight out from gate in upplands. Gather all, then return to Dahl. Dahl instructs you to visit GTHYIA OF BRAGI (JORD-Step 18).

Gythia Of Bragi give a Rabid Bearhide Hauberk- hits 24,str 5, af 50. Tells you to come back when stronger.

Very easy epic, completed this with my 21 Thane in about 2 hours, most of which was spent travelling to Skona and back between Vas.
The standing stones are just inside Skona. Run alongside the left side of the Werewolf town and head directly east. You'll see willows on your left and the hill with the stones straight ahead. Caster is blue and simple prey. Spawns after 11 all night and leaves 5am.

This is stupid, I was told to speak to smith Genlu Edill in hagger, and when I speak with him, he tells me that I haven't got the strength nore the wisdom. I'm a lvl 21 Troll Warrior. This is a lvl20 quest right?

yep same problem with lvl 20 Skald on french server broceliande. My lvl 20 thane friend wansn't even told to speak to Genlu when he met his main instructor. We both spoke to him yet, but he told us we were not strong enough. Despite that we tried to kill Korban. when we killed him (spwaned at night, we didn't kill any of his companions) he haven't gave us anything... :(

i cant find her..i sat there for 2 nights and i couldnt find her in the circle with all those robed female casters...and she never spawned...am i at the right one or what?
