This is the fourth part of the spiritmaster ongoing epic quest.

Return to Anrid in Jordheim once you reach level 30. She will tell you the story of Gunnar Alfevson and how he journeyed into Muspelheim with the last piece of the crest and never returned.

You can find the Shade of Gunnar at the skeleton camp in Muspelheim at 39500, 44400. Kill Gunnar and you will receive the fourth piece of the Grenlock Crest. Return the piece to Anrid to receive your reward and instructions for the next quest in the series.

Anrid says, "Welcome! Are prepared to [complete] the journey you started long ago?"

You have been given the Forgotten Journey quest.

Anrid says, "Very well the, let us proceed."

Anrid says, "The last of Svan's sons went by the name Gunnar, a mighty warrior and wise in the ways of worship. Gunnar outlived his brothers and like his father was a good man. Yet, the tradegy of his father's death struck Gunnar very hard. Even the birth of his own sons could not raise him from the pain. So it was that on a cold morning within the town of Vasudfheim, the ageing Viking took up his axe and headed towards Mularn. He paused only briefly to purchase supplies within Haggerfel. Then, according to the townsfolk, Gunnar set out into the fires of Muspelheim and [did not return]."

[Step #1] Learn of Gunnar from Anrid in Jordheim.

Anrid says, "In tribute of the great warrior, as baby born each generation within Vasudheim bears Gunnar's honored named. Gunnar carried with him, the fourth piece of the Grenlock crest. If you are to find this piece, you must start your journey within Musoelheim! When you have obtained it, return to me."

[Step #2] Follow Gunnar's trail into Muspelheim! Find where his journey took him, and you will find the crest piece.

Shade of Gunnar is located approximately 40k, 45k, and is surround by charred skeletal commanders, seared skeletons, and charred skeletal sentries. The agro range is wide and you will get at least three at one time. If you wait for Hroderk and the noxious hounds to come around on their patrol, they will kill some of the skeletons. All in all there are about a total of 12 skeletons in the whole area.

The Shade of Gunnar says, "You honor Gunnar's passing! Tread well the treasures that lay within!"

You receive a Grenlock Crest piece from the Shade of Gunnar!
You get 1,000,291 experience points.

[Step #3] Return to Anrid within Jordheim. Carry with you Gunnar's crest piece.

Anrid says, "Were you successful?"

Anrid's hands begins to shake.

Anrid says, "I cannot believe I hold all but the last piece of the crest! You have done wonders my friend! We have only to merge the five piece into one and [fulfill the wish] of a fallen king, now kept for hundreds of years."

You have finished the Forgotten Journey quest.
You are awarded 7,8XX,XXX experience!

Now go and finish the Grenlock Clan quest.

you get about 3 mill per crest peice you give to the dverge

The quest also required that you then take the four pieces of the crest to musp, and deal with the dverge to have it reforged.

Need to kill the charred skeles and the pyrotasms to workup dverge faction.

I found Gunnar in the position indicated on the map at the link above. He is a giant skeleton surrounded by smaller skeletons. He was no problem to beat, but expect to get a few at once.
