She was on the right for me, as I came from CW but she did not come alone...2 with her but she was green and they were grey to me at 20th. I got the Lady of the Lake quest at 15 but the two with the first shard were OJ to me and I kept getting killed so I trained up...also want to get to 20 for BG ... :)

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different 04.06.05 Per patch 1.75: - Forged Excellence - Dooben and Vandush have been relocated to Salisbury Plains. They can be found along the shoreline near the slave camp. Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. At Lady Nimue when she asks you to choose one of the sub quests, choose [shard of Sequence] and you will be given the Forged Excellence quest. Lady Nimue sends you off to speak to Erstal Furlan, the smith at West Downs about the shards of Sequence. At West Downs, ask Erstal about the [shards of Sequence]. He will tell you the story of Arthur's sword named Sequence and how it was broken by Lancelot while completing an epic quest. At the end of the story he tells you to go get the shard from inside a mud golem named Dooben. . Go kill Dooben at loc=57585, 11352 and receive a Shard of Sequence (level 50 item with no properties). Return to Erstal with the jewel and give it to him. He tells you it can be combined with another item, gives it back to you and sends you off to slay the wood ogre seer, Vagdush. Vagdush is at loc=58604,21724 in the Salisbury Plains When you slay Vagdush (yellow to me at level 15), you receive Vagdush's Seer Amulet (level 40 item with no properties). A check of your journal tells you that you need to combine these jewels at the forge in Ludlow, Black Mtns. South, (forge is at loc=49292,46291) Run on over to the forge and right-click on it to combine the items. You receive a Sequence Ring from the Forge. You have finished the Forged Excellence quest! Vagdush can be found on either side of the road, I did this with my scout, found him on one side...When i came back with my Friar he was on the other side of the road.
Just keep looking around for him, you will get to him right before you enter cornwall.

Confirmed, also it is a stationary mob, he's not roaming

I found Vagdush on the =left= side of the road as I was coming from Caer Withrin, not the right. This was after searching the right side for quite a while. I would suggest that anyone having problems locating her, try checking both sides.

I've been looking for Vagdush off and on for the last 3 real days, probably a total of 6-7 game days. I have killed all the wood ogres that I can find in hopes of triggering a spawn. I have looked in Camp Forest as well as in Avalon Marsh. I'm really not sure what to do at this point. I've all but given up on the quest.
The named mud golem (Doogen?) was easy to find. Vagdush, however, remains elusive. I have searched both sides of the road to Cornwall.
Are there any places left that I need to look?

i have hunbted for two hours on the hill west of the pond where dooben is-killed hin-bur among the hill orges vagdush has never spawned?-has anyone found him?-is he in avalon marsh or maybe camp forrest with orges there?

From Caer Withrin you head South West and he is found in a different pond area...He is near the pond and was blue to me at 17. No one else will come with him.
For Vagdush travel on the road to Cornwall and she is in the forrest right between CW and Cornwall....to the right of the road if you are coming from CW. She was also blue to me at 17 and came alone.
