I love how mythic sometimes just sends you on your way with very little instructions regarding quests! Anywho in order to get Verin to speak to you u must left click on him then click on the main tab and type: barbarians
after this he will give you the rest of the quest

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Per live patch first week in Oct and Nov: Legend of the Lake and Barbaric Tales: Players couldn't turn in the second goblin tome - this has been fixed, they can turn it in now. Sir Verin is outside the gates to Swanton Keep in North Black Mountaints. He asks you to get 2 halves of a book of knowledge from the named goblins, Ulfwag and Grilk. Ulfwag can be found in a goblin fort south of Swanton Keep and north west of Snowdonia Station location 18086 28069 Grilk can be found in an abandoned house. To get there, go to the lone guard tower along the path to Snowdonia Fortress. This is north of the twin guard towers past the bridge that connects South Black Mountains to North Black Mountains. From the lone guard tower, head west by southwest and you shall climb a tall mountain, with roaming goblins. Look around for an abandoned house. Loc 4.4k, 5.5k. (For all who know where Tepok's Mine is, it is southwest of it). After you give both halves to Sir Verin, you have to return to Lady Nimue. When your return to Lady Nimue, she will award you experience and and an item. These are rewards for completion of Legend of the Lake, but listed for your convenience. Rewards: |

actually if you look in the quest log anything inside [these] you have to say to the npc like for having to say the barbariens part it said [barbariens] and in search for sil quest you had to tell the guard [sil] not that hard once you learn it ;)

Am in the middle of this quest - made a significant mistake I fear - went after Mystic Ulfwag solo - wound up killing him in the heat of a battle with lots of agro - message received is that ..." his tome is lost forever." Journal now sends me after Grilk - won't make the same mistake until twice.

Disregard everything above - the tome was squirreled away in a higher level bag - must have had a blank spot I was not aware of.
From this I would conclude: 1. Never run quests when you're too tired to know of what you're speaking. 2. Confirm all facts before relegating your words to a public place for all to see just how dim witted you were at the time of writing.
As a side note - Grilk has now bitten the dust too and both tomes are now with Sir Verin.

Lady Nimue's loc is the same on each server... it has only changed since the last version...the location given in the main topic is the right location

Though it might vary by server, the two times I've done this quest on Nimue, Lady Nimue was found along the edge of the lake almost due south of Campacorentin Station (app. loc is 8k/48k).

In Avalon Marsh, past Adribard's retreat. At the bridge, turn left and follow the water's edge. You will see a series of Bogman structures on islands. She spawns on either the N or S of those two islands at night.
