I am doing the shard quest and i foundErstal Furlan at west downs not in Avalon Marsh. When i talk to him all he say's is "what can this apperntice do for you?" no white words to click on. What do i do?

I can't get Sir Verin to give quest. I chose him from Nimue and he shows up in my journal, but no dice. I'm level 20, am I too high for him to give me a quest?

The co-ordinates listed for Vagdush have been incorrect, he can actually be found on the opposite side of the road NE of that location at 3940, 35580 amongst a group of wood ogre seers.

Also, Lady Nimue appears at two locations, one during day and the other night; no point sitting around waiting for her to reappear at one spot as it is quicker to go to the second. She can be found in Campa Forest during the day at 8380, 47321, and Avalon Marsh during night at 27631, 45026.

First, I suggest that you do this quest at lvl 17. Or, if you do it at lvl 15, breing a friend.
I did this quest with my lvl 19 Theurgist.

First part of the quest:
1) talk to your trainer in Camelot city.

2) talk to Lady Nimue at loc 8365, 47290 in Campacorentin Forest.
She is on the shore of the river, across from the island. Note: your journal tells you that Lady Nimue only appears at night but for me it was the opposite, she was there during the day.

She will give you 4 possible sub-quest and you must choose 2. I chose the 'Locate the Shard of Sequence' quest because it gives you an extra magical item (a ring) for my first quest. Second, I chose the 'Assist Sir Verin' quest because it is not too long too acconmplish.

Locate the Shard of Sequence quest:
3) (Be sure you chose this quest from Lady Nimue)talk to Erstal Furlan at loc 37300, 18240 in Avalon Marsh (he is inside the Outland Wharf).

4) kill the mud golem named Dooben at loc 15800, 48650 in Avalon Marsh. He does roam along the shore of a lake. He was green to me (at lvl 19). You will receive a shard of sequence.

5) return to Erstal Furlan.

6) kill the ogre named Vagdush at loc 3200, 44200 in Avalon Marsh. It was green to me. You will receive a medaillon.

7) go to the forge at Cornwall Station, loc 55650, 4940 and right click (with your mouse) on the forge to combine the shard of sequence with the ogre's medaillon. You will receive a new magical item. For me (Theurgist) it was:

Sequence ring: +3 DEX, 4% body resist, 4% thrust resist.

8) Return to Lady Nimue at loc 8375, 47290 in Campacorentin Forest. (at Cornwall station, take the horse to Caer Ulwych then head SW from there).

Assist Sir Verin quest:
9) (Be sure you chose this quest from Lady Nimue) talk to Sir Verin at loc 28435, 13265 in Black mtns North (he is at the entrance to Swanton Keep.

10) kill the goblin Ulfwag at loc 18500, 26725 in Black mtns North. He is in the middle of the goblin camp. All monsters were gray to me at lvl 19. You will receive his tome. If you don't, wait and kill him again.

11) kill the goblin Grilk at loc 4500, 5550 in Black mtns South. He is inside the house near Tepok's mine. All monsters were gray to me at lvl 19. You will receive his tome. If you don't, wait and kill him again.

12) return to Sir Verin and give him both tomes.

13) Return to Lady Nimue.

She can be hard to find when its dark and raining. The actual loc of her is 8380 by 47321.

The Haert of Albion quest seems to be a new one. Its does not count toward the 2 sidequest total.

after spending a few days camping the southern forest i checked the northen one and found her, with another seer. They relitavely easy for being yellow @ 15.

You actually can do all 4 subquests. You only have to do 2 of them through Nimue. After you complete the two subquests, go visit the mobs that give out the other two quests and you'll be able to do them.

camp wood ogres outside cornwall on hill for 4 daoc days..no named seer "vagdush". any one know if this quest is broken?

I am working on the "shards of sequence" subquest and I cannot find the name wood agre named "Vagdush". I found the wood ogres North of the road to Cornwall, but named ogre.

Help!

there was a question where is the dooben dude. I sat for an hour killing mud golems waiting for him to spawn. He does not spawn there, I looked around and saw some of those water willow trees to the southwest i said aye must be water over there. he is at a different pond to the southwest of caer witren. green to me at lvl 19 and hes solo, good hunting to you

Hi everyone where is Sir Verin located in Black Mountains?

All i ca say do the quest because when you reach 50 you can do the quest that really do give you good stuff

This quest is the longest more boring quest I have done out of the three realms :( Is there any reason to run us all over the planet talking to people who tell us they cant help us to go talk to someone else? It seems to be a whole lot of horse riding for nothing, just send us to where we need to be and be done!

Frankly, if you are not interested in the whole questing aspect of this, then do yourself a favor and just concentrate on leveling. As noted below, it does take quite a while to do (unless you are extremely familiar with where things are), but it does go by a bit quicker at higher levels.

Just did this one as a L15 scout. Took me over 5 hours, and tons of horse rides but the studded gloves add +2 to longbow and you get an even 5 dots of experience. Would have been nice to get something along with the exp for the 2 mini quests included, but since it has to be done, the gloves are a nice reward.

Ulfwag : Black Mtns North 18478 26793

Grilk : Black Mtns South 4475 5545

This quest never ends, do not do it in one siting you will go out of your mind. Is the quest worth it? Yes very much so. But, again a implore you not to do it in one siting I spent over 1 gold on horse rides during this quest it took me 4 hours. Just a word from the wise (and a little less sane).

from all I've read here, the reward for completing this quest isn't nearly good enough to justify the time necessary to complete it. However, as I'm pretty sure you have to complete this one to get the advanced Epics at 20, 25, 30 and beyond, I guess you have to look past the near term and plan on expending the time/effort.

Ok, Lady Nimue told me to go and find sir Verin and do whatever he wants me to do. However, he doesn't say a thing. I'm a a level 15 friar.
