Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

This quest can only be done if you started your class epic quests (The Lost Stone) with your SI trainer.

1. Speak to Lt. Newster in Caer Gothwaite.

2. She tells you to go speak with Gavon Montgomery in Caifelle (get ticket
to Caifelle from Caer Gothwaite).

3. Talk to Gavon Montgomery - he tells you he needs marsh mud from the
marsh creepers that roam around the southeast of Caifelle.

4. Slay 2 marsh cruds (con blue to level 13)

5. Go speak to Lirele the Inconnu in Gothwaite Harbor (get ticket to Caer
Gothwaite in Caifelle)

6. Give her the two marsh cruds

7. Get in return a vial of mud

8. Lirele instructs you to get a Drakoran Neophyte's soul which will be
bound in the vessel of mud.

9. Go kill a neophyte southwest in the fort farthest from Anniogel (conned
yellow to me at 13 - for is the southern most fort).

10. Slay the Neophyte Spirit that appears

11. Return to Gavon Montgomery in Caifelle

Get the following:

xp (31,000+ at level 13)
cash (11sp)
item (I got Bracer of the Skillfull

Rewards:

Bracer of the Skillful -- Scout

Ring of the Pure -- Friar

Bracelet of the Enlightened -- Theurgist

Belt of the Mighty -- Armsman

It seems as though if you have done fortune of few then you cannot do this one. I had the same problem...

You need to speak to your trainer to get the quest. Not the trainer of someone else's class.

I tried to get this quest from Lt. Newster yesterday, and she wouldn't talk to me. All she said was "You need to get your training from another trainer" (or something such). I'm a friar, do I have to do another quest prior to this one?
