Point of Reason

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Per patch 1.75: - Point of Reason - Aricoer and his Captured Souls have been moved to Campacorentin Forest on the hill north of the Ogre Fortress. Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Lady Triss, the paladin trainer in Camelot, tells you they have learned much while you were away. You are asked to help find some elusive assistant, and are sent to speak to Sir Benitt at Castle Sauvage, the keep at the forest Sauvage border. (This is the Paladin version and is also available for Clerics from their trainer) Sir Benitt tells you of a dying scout who returned with a report of this assistant, Aricoer, one who practices pagan magic and denounces the church. He also gave him a rough map of Cornwall, and a note which mentioned a broken tower. He asks you to return this scout's map to the church. After looking at the map, your trainer send you to Sir Gwyn at the Snowdonia Fortress to have him identify where this broken tower lies (perhaps he was once stationed near Cornwall at the opposite end of the realm). Sir Gwyn tells you the tower is in Cornwall, past the Cornwall station and just off the road He sends you back to your trainer in Camelot. I hope you're not getting saddle-sore, because there is more riding ahead. Your trainer next sends you to see Sir Aldar at Caer Ulfwych. Aricoer only spawns at night (though this is in question, he may be an anytime spawn) and is at loc=24933, 33532 Camp Forest. There are a number of undead near the tower, and even though they will assist Aricoer, at least until you kill him. Aricoer drops a chest, which apparently is a wizard's box. Do not try to open it, as it is sealed with his evil magic. Return the box to your trainer in Camelot, and you shall receive an award from the church to thank you for your hard work.
