DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Note: Be sure to complete this quest before you train in your chosen profession at lvl 5. Torold Sterkkriger says, "Well, you have done well. You passed the trial of strength without difficulty, and Idena spoke of your intelligence in dealing with those riddles. I myself have solved them, so I know what they are like. I'm glad you did well, for now it is time to face the [third and final trial]." Torold Sterkkriger says, "The kast trial you will face will prove your bravery. If you pass this trial, you will have shown that you have the potential to survive in the wilds of Aegir. Are [you ready] to face this third trial?" Dialog box: Will you face the trial of bravery? You have been given the Trial of Bravery quest. Torold Sterkkriger says, "Then you must go speak to Rania. She is one of the Valkyn that has been involved in training many young Vikings since she came to Aegirhamn. She is expecting you." [Step #1] Go to Rania on Aegirhamn. Rania says, "Hello. I have been expecting you. You have passed teh first two trials, but strength and brains mean nothing if you flee at the first sign of danger. The Morvaltar are not a group to run. They will fight to the death. I have seen a single Morvalt face [a hundred men] and not flee. Now, I'm not saying that Morvalt wasn't scared, but he was able to stand his ground." Rania says, "Oh fear not, we shall not send you against a hundred men! You only need to face two. There are creatures called naive sjora. They can be fierce when engaged in combat. I want you to face two naive sjora. I will need proof that you defeated them and didn't run from combat. Naive sjora wear shell necklaces. I want you to get one of those. Also. when naive sjora die, they will often utter some words. You must listen to them and remember that word. Once you have both, return to me here. I wish you luck!" [Step #2] Defeat a naive sjora and get the shell necklace it carries. They live along the coast south of the bridge on the west side of Aegirhamn. You receive a sjora shell necklace from the naive sjora! [Step #3] Defeat a naive sjora to learn the words Rania wants. They live along the coast south of the bridge on the west side of Aegirhamn. Pop up box: Til sjoen! [Step #4] Return to Rania in Aegirhamn. Rania says, "Welcome back. Please give me the sjora shell necklace." [Step #5] Give Rania the sjora shell necklace. You give Rania the sjora shell necklace. Rania says, "Now for the tricky part of the trial. You can obtain the necklace from others, but the words are for your ears alone. Tell me what they are." [Step #6]Say the words [til sjoen] to Rania. You say, "Til sjoen!" Rania says, "Very good! You have passed all three trials! Here, take this to help you prepare to meet the trainers who will continue to guide you towards your destiny. I shall let Torold know you passed the final trial. Well done!" You are awarded 2 silver and some copper! You are awarded 44 experience! You have finished the Trial of Bravery quest. |

I had to complete another quest, called the Trial of Intelligence (Level 2), before I was given the Trial of Bravery.

You have to complete this quest before chosing and advance class. You cannot complete it after chosing and advanced class.

Anyone have the same problem:
I do the quest up to step #6, then I go to Rania and say "til sjoen" but nothing happens. I have tried every possible way of typing the words, with exclamation mark and without, with capitals and without... It just doesn't work!
