As i had some time to spare yesterday before my shift began, i took a walk into Caledonia the eternally deserted battleground. As suspected it held its reputation up proudly, and not a single enemy was sighted, bar the Portal Keeps guards.
Currently Midgard hold Caer Caledon, but on swimming out to the island and having a look around, it appears the guards there are becoming either lazy, or the number have been reduced, since no one has threatened the place months. Now, with only a Jarl on the bridges to Midgard and Hibernia, and a single Huscarl guarding the rear of the keep and the bridge to the Albion portal, an archer and possibly one other Jarl up by the gate (not accounting for archers or others inside) thats only 5 guards protecting that keep externally. I highly doubt that the Mids have bothered reinforcing the doors to this place, and i believe that if we can raze 2 groups of well balanced albions (Im posting this to the alliance halls also), we can take that keep easily.
I'm looking for volunteers to take this realm from the Mids as even though it offers very few tactical or personal benefits, it's more a matter of pride, and to add to that, i doubt we'll find anything in the way of resistance from defenders.
Im guessing one ram will suffice, although if anyone feels a second would be useful, i wont stop them taking one. Anyone interested please post your name & class below and a date and time that would suit, then we can begin organising, if we can get enough together...
Remember, Caledonia is only open to those of 30th - 35th seasons.
