so im in varulham, sorry dontknow exact spelling, and im pulling some orange con wolves.
right when i engage them my healer pets have a nervous breakdown and run into the walls. or a mob will attack them and they book it and hide inside the walls, with the mob chasing them, and taking me out of the eqquation because i cant see wtf is going on.
then they die, or they decide theyre too scared to heal, and mob wtfpwns me.
this has happened numerous times, and it getting very frustrating
anyone have any suggestions to make them stop running around like chickens with their heads cut off? tried passive, stay, here, defensive, all the different /formations... i give up
is pet pathing and LOS getting fixed anytime soon?

This is a problem with any dungeon. You have to put them on passive, then start backing up till the healers are out of the wall and the MOB is also. Then you can attack it.

A nother good thing to know might be that mobs aggroing your healer will not aggro you after the healer pet is killed, UNLESS you in any way have attacked the mob or sent your commander to attack it. Knowing that ha saved me from dying a few times. Usually I can take 1 oj mob just by using LT alone without healer pet so if the pet pulls "extra" aggro just let it die or release it and that mob wount go after you.
Other then that healer pet AI or any pet AI is still not working 100% and can be dangerous in caves, have to deal with it for now.

ya thats happened to me a couple times in spindel and my healers would run through the walls and r never to be seen again
1 time in spind i was pulling and they run in the walls then thy kll the mob and i put em on passive and here and they never show up and then i click stay and so i go searching for them and then they r about 1 mile away from me lol but atleast my babies survived thts the important thing so ya the pets do get stupid sometimes but bear in mind that they r skeletons and they DONT HAVE BRAINS so dont blame them blame the gods

Its even worse when they come back with new mobs.
Sometimes its funny, like in DF, I've been fairly far down, and suddenly my pets appear trailing some green rocots.
Other times its not so funny (like when they disappear by green rocots and come back trailing a couple purple nightmares)

Whats frustrating about all this is that the retard pet syndrome has been around since bonedancers were introduced, and now another expansion is almost here and the problem has not been addressed in any way.
And yet when necros whined about their pet, /here was put in almost immediately.

If we just had a command to tell the Healer Pet to NOT RUN, it would solve a lot of problems. It does not solve the AI issues but it would be easy for Mythic to code up and would at least give us something to prevent the stupid healer from running threw new aggro with his hands waving in the air like his hair is on fire.

Gadank, the /here command was being asked for by ALL pet class players not just necros.
It was entirely a coincidence that /here was put in after necro introduction. In fact, other pet functions were put in as well.
Lets not make it into anything else.
As for crazy pets, sims still go haywire, especially the amber. Necro pets will decide to go for a bit of a walkabout despite being on passive and stay.
Oh and minstrel charmed pets can still do wacky things as well.

Ok Wycc, but lets not pretend that there is no problem here either, and this isn't a "once in a while thing" this is every single fight I am in with my bonedancer I have to concentrate on managing my healer pet, it is out of hand.
We need a fix here.

You forgot the best thing about pets. I have been dark spec and just switched to BA, and in both specs nothing is better than fighting orange con mobs fairly well and then on one pull your commanders hp's start dropping like mad, and you realize that your bone soilder decided, "hey WTH, let me smack the commander around some". It doesnt happen all that often, and I dont mind when it happens if i'm resting, but when my pets fight each other during a pull is f'ing annoying and resultts in me having to release all my pets and start over. Couple that with a healer pet who loves to vanish through walls and bring new mobs to the fight and makes xp'ing in dungeons a pain.

You know, this is so aggrivating and not a peep from a TL or mythic or santa or anything, all I want is someone to acknowledge that there is a problem and eventually it will be fixed, I don't think thats too much to ask, especially since this problem has been around since the class was first introduced.

my favorite is when the healer pets are going crazy, and your commander is wacking the mob, then when the commander <finally> kills the mob, he turns and starts smacking on the healer. at first it was just annoying. but, i guess the commander gets pissed when the healers go psycho too...guess they deserve the smacking they get.
