I agree to a point. It is no one's right to tell Albs to delete, or reroll, or anything like that. However, for about 1.5 years, people have been saying Albion Palomides is going to zerg themselves into having no one to fight. The current status of the server is really not that far off the mark.

So everyone has choices, and it would appear many mids and hibs have been making the choice to cancel, go elsewhere, or lay low. Albs have the same kind of choice, and overwhelmingly their choice has been to zerg like no one has fucking zerged before.

What choice will Albs make when even camping the mileforts results in no action? Mythic was really correct about one thing, realm wars cannot be won, and they cannot be lost. Even if no one is left to fight, no one wins.

Waiting for Mythic to fix the population problem on this server? For as long as it took for them to EVEN ADMIT THERE WAS AN ISSUE was like pulling shark teeth. Don't hold your breath waiting, unless you're an alb.

Exactly Peck, it has taken me from November 2001 till about now to get to almost RR5 thanks to my playtime, my timezone and spending WAY too much time faffing around and not farming RPs

There is no way in hell I am going to delete and re-roll to Hibernia/Midgard, if I was to change I'd move to another server totally, have a fresh break. I've considered it many times, as has the guild, but even with /level it's too damned hard to reach 50 on another server as we simply cannot get people together to group and level. Plus I happen to love my character, Albion as a realm, and my friends here on the server.

Asking Albion to do something about the problem is like asking Midgard and Hibernia to do something about the problem, it aint going to work. MYTHIC needs to step in and sort something out. /level didn't cut it, exp/gold and RP bonuses, incentives, /charcopy to underpopulated servers, or something along those lines. Also, stuff needs to be put in that gives bonuses in RvR and PvE to underpopulated realms, make that realm's Dragon easier, make their guards tougher, REMOVE PATROL GUARDSPAM, crap like that.

I can't help that Hibernia and Midgard are underpopulated (I'm of the view that Albion has the right number to be healthy, it's just that Hibernia and Midgard don't have enough. Think how dead the server would be if every realm was as big as Midgard, now think how great it would be if every realm was as big as Albion. Though hopefully with less tards...), without throwing away my almost 2 years of work and my guild. Something I'm not likely to do anytime soon. Sorry

I wish I could do something that didn't involve fucking myself over, it's up to Mythic to do more...

Sirand, you can take your high and mighty attitude and shove it right up your ass. Most of the people you're complaining to in this thread are Albs that have been in Albion on this server from the start. You know, back you you were chain stunning everything in sight and laugh spamming the people that were defenseless to do anything about it.

I've thought aobut deleteing and rerolling many times because i'm sick of it too. But you know what? If I were going to there's no chance in hell I'd want to play a Mid on this server after seeing the attitudes of you and some of your realmmates. You couldn't pay me to play with you guys. Most of the hibs are pretty cool, if I manage to get some of my friends to go with me I just might move to Hib yet, but right now I have a very close group of friends that are hesitant to give up all there hard work and I simply won't go anywhere without them.

We need a /recycle command. This command when performed will delete all your toons in a realm and give you /level credits equivalent to your highest level toon on any realm, any server you are able to normally create a toon on.(perhaps with the amount of gold you have on him). Then you can choose a server, /level up to your previous level, use the coin to buy armor, and essentially pick up where you left off.

The problem with /charcopy is that it needs to be the same realm, and there are just too many albs across most servers it seems. You should be able to /recycle your alb toon and pick up a sav toon on another server. This would eliminate mapping (cleric must be copied onto another cleric) issues, and the deleting of the original toon means that we would not be creating clone armies.

Bullshit, you have no clue what it's like be be on the perpetually losing side. It does not suck just as much. Run from ligen to emain a few thousand times and tell me if you still feel that way. "We paid our $13 bucks and have all the right to play alb" blahblah, the hibs and mids paid their 13 bucks to fight 2:1 odds all day long. The suckiness is not equal by any stretch of the imagination or any spin you can put on it.

after reading the log, it's clear what the problem was. lack of efficiency past door2. 6 minutes each on the first 2 doors, over 10 minutes on the last door. those 4 extra minutes more than likely made the difference.

even so, for what appears to be a relatively unorganized 2 realm attack, 22 minutes from attack to door3 down is not bad at all especially given the 3 ram rule.

3rd door is where the uber guards/wizzies really started to cause trouble especially with the few albs in the tower. Being in a more confined space and lack of ability to use F8 or ae was hellish around the doors.

I was on the wall trying to take out wizzies but casting on them is pretty much useless sometimes. I was literally resisted every single spell for a full mana bar.

Also when we got on the 3rd door and more albs showed up the lag became even more horrible. It was bad enough before then that our bard couldn't stay connected for any significant amount of time but when we got on third door even I had trouble and I've got a strong machine. For some reason alb spells, specifically the fire wiz, just tear me up.

It was still a good raid considering we couldn't talk to most people and that made things really really tough.

Albs caused far more trouble on the 3rd door than the first two. Most of us that were in the tower defending didn't get there until after the first 2 doors were down. On the 3rd door we were able to stall things quite nicely because of the attackers inability to AE. Our ice wizzies were able to pbae at the door with little risk, and we had people attacking the rams(destroyed at least 4 during tower door fight) and also repair the door with little damage being taken. Once the door finally came down our tanks were able to effectively limit passage into the tower because we could jam large numbers into the choke points without fear of ae damage tearing us apart. Anyone trying to get through to the relics had to break through 2 seperate gauntlets of slamming/slashing tanks just in side the doors and at the top of the first ramp. The inability to AE really hurt the attackers on this raid.

Still though, it was a well planned and executed raid. I thought you guys had us, but in the end the disadvantages to working with another realm proved to be too much to overcome. Hats off to you though, it was a lot of fun.

Because on the first 2 doors we had no resistance...on the last door when I was ramming, we had an enchanter PBAEing me, like 4 ice wizards, and a shitload of VP hitting me, plus uber wizard repop.

Maybe try something a little different next time at the end? Once all the doors are down have only one realm go up the tower to get relics while the other realm stays down below defending. This way we won't have to worry about AoE or PBAoE killing anyone but Albs.
