Volley: "Shot sails clear of your intented target" |

| I was firing volley from the top of a keep to the top of a keep tower full of Hibs and I kept getting that message. The GT was clearly set on the tower right on top of 1 of the Hibs and I was sure that I was in range...What was I doing wrong? |

You were missing. A volley shot has a chance to hit stuff in a radius from your GT. So either you were having bum luck, or your GT was not set right. |

If I fire 6 volley shots into a group of hibs, I tend to miss 2-3 times.. but when I do hit, I hit for regular (if not a little more) damage.
The best thing about volley is the fact that you don't need LoS. You can be standing inside the tower in complete safety while firing.. so you gotta take the bad with the good. Aleas - 50 Scout, RR5L8 ML10 (Percival)

| I am using a 5.3 spd drop atm in Leir...it does pretty good dmg even for a low dex Highlander :) |

Use the slowest bow you can for volley. Can't stress that enough. You use anything faster than that and you are leaving damage on the table.
I almost never use volley, but I have the Immolated for those rare occasions. |

Not worth it for a volley bow. Fool's Bow is superior in every way for open field.
