I play mordred and do a fair bit of epic farming with a servant necro/cleric duo. There's a few mobs I can get down about 20% before the cleric gets agro and things go to hell.

I have a few questions :

1) does the 9% long duration and 25% short duration absorb buff stack?
2) do the two buffs make a large difference on a buffed pet?
3) does the 12% physical resistance turret stack on top of that?

Thank you in advance for any insight you might have.

the two buffs do not stack, the 9% buff is negligable on a bot buffed pet, tho the 25% one is noticeable. and the physical resist turrents are actually magic resist turrets (h/m/c/b/s/e) they do stack with other casted resists, but will not take you above 26% resists from buffs.

I see. I'm hoping that maybe the extra 25% and some bladeturns might put me where i need to be.

something to realize, against higher con mobs, verdant pbae gets resisted a ton (since it's cast from a lvl 44 pet), and there's no way to augment this besides throwing down turrets to add to the attacker count

His comments seem to infer he's not using it in terms of leveling, but rather farming.

That said, there are a ton of mobs that wont be able to do more than 1-2 damage to a ML9'd 25% abs buffed pet with the Ablative turrets in the area [Sililia of the EoY encounter for example will continuously hit for 0 damage]. The BTs are obviously for when ML 9 is down, with the 25% abs buff, you can BT-BT-Abs-BT-BT-Abs and maintain power indefinately in a fop with pet cycling while keeping the pet alive till ML 9 resets. Also remember the animist has its own pet casted heal spell, which can also be cycled in there.

Magic and Proc damage, as usual, will still take decent chunks off the pet - the resist buff pets help a smidge there, but youll only mitigate the nuke damage by 26% max (post magic absorb modification) which will still result in decent damage per hit - but not unmanageable.
