Im currently thinking of going 50arb/19creeping/7verd, but noticed on charactor builder it says that the single shroom is a Damage Debuff -13% PEN. What does that mean exactly?
Would going 19 creeping help shroom spaming some (with power) vs 4 creeping i had before?
Im currently 50arb/20verd/4 creeping. But thought i switch it around and see if i like creeping more.

It means that the spell when applied makes the base DPS of the target go down by 13%. This means a melee will hit for 13% less DPS overall when useing unstyled attacks.
What it does NOT mean is the melee will attack as though they have a 14.3 dps weapon, or they will do 13% less damage.
It means overall jack doodley.
For mobs though it can be very helpful on long fights if the spell will land.
The biggest problem for the DPS debuff is the fact that styles are counted differently then base damage. Read the HASTE debates and explainers and you will start to understand.
In a game where melee will style attack their target 90% of the time why make a debuff that only effects the unstyled attacks....

BLeh, thats kinda lame. They need to rework that to have a better effect in rvr imo.
What about power for shrooms, would i use less, or it won't be noticable?

The value of the traditional 50/19/7 as regards to creeping spec is for the AE root bomber. While it might appear that a 19 spec ae root would be resisted severely, remember all the bombers that are in the air headed toward a target are considered attackers. Hence, if you bomb- - -then ae root or send 2 ae roots, you will find that it hits a LOT.
The root is not a wonderful oh my they are running at me tool but is quite good to stop THEM from running or in the middle of a fight when you are not being rushed by a train and most importantly when you get the element of surprise such as a keep or tower take. Nothing is more fun than the enemy running into the door of a tower only to be rooted by several bombers as the oil pot drops its contents on their heads!!

i use the aeroot without bombers before and it doesn't get resisted that much, i think it might be because it's a lvl 50 bomber.
anyway speccing 19 creeping allows you to get the ubber snaring pet too, which is an incredible weapon, the snare isn't purgeable, any stealther poping or tank incoming when your solo deserve his QC+snaring pet.
i usually pop it in 8vs8 too if i can, right after the speedcut, furthermore it's pretty nice for hidding in it as a sobekite

In a side by side test with 9-11 animist ranging from Arb to Verdant. I was the only Creep.
We all cast lvl 50 hearts.
I was able to cast 1 more heart then they where able to do.
NOT WORTH IT.
You will find posts by poster children for birth control claiming the uberness of shrooms.
They are not.
And they are definately not worth specing for when you see the nice tradeoffs in the other 2 specs.
IMO Verdant offers more to RVR then Creeping. Arb 50/19/8 being the best bang for the buck.
The only real thing Creep brings to RVR is AE root. There are too few Nature spec'd Druids so Creep is the only other option. To be honest though. 90% of Hibs dont have the experience of working with a rooter so its all an uphill battle.

I might try it for the ae root then at least. Seems like it could be usefull in situations. I will still have the low level tank in verd to pbae off to uncover stealthers so thats ok. hehe

^^^ you can pbae off of anything you cast as long as you a controlled down, it doesn't have to be the verdant controlled either. as long as you have a controlled up then you can pbae off of any shroom, or bomber that you cast (tricky catching them in flight though)
