Verdant ablative turrets

Hiya. I have search these boards and can't find the answer to a question I have regarding these turrets. I know the ablative effect does not stack, but I was wondering if casting out more then one benefitted in ANY way. Specifically I'm hoping that having more then one out would eliminate downtime between recasts of the shield, and that therefore the net effect would be a higher average ablative effect over time. If that makes any sense...
The ablative and the abs buffs are the main reasons I'm wanting to spec Verd. There's something sorta cool about what I hope becomes "We don't need a druid or bard, we have a Verd animist." Am I wrong? I'm still kinda new to the animist.
Thanks.

Verdant Animists are definitely useful, but you will not replace a healer. The value of the ablative is simply too low. Plus I believe it only blocks physical attacks, not magical.

Yes. The abs buff and ablatives are nice to have, but not essential.
You COULD use a verd ani over a druid when it comes to melee farming, depending on the mob level. Spamming bubble on a melee toon while they are melee farming would alleviate the need of a druid for heals. Your melee chars would kill faster with druid buffs though...

Value of multiple ablative shrooms is 'sometimes' they wont bug up and will buff different people .. typically, they get stuck in a buffing loop and all buff in the same order.
Abs buff is the big seller on a verder .. with the BT coming in second (then, with the lack of 'real' damage, they can focus on other supporting roles [rooting, tanglers, interrupt FnFs].
As said, wont replace a druid as you only mitigate tank/melee pet damage .. however, you definately cover your weight if you play right and the enemy isnt stacking in a nice train.
I cast the BT bombers in 1.0 (granted, im not verd) .. and I can easily save a support char 2 melee swings .. which is a good amount of damage. 25% abs buff also adds to that, especially if you get these off at the start of the fight (they also stack with all RAs, BoF, Soldiers Barricade .. as well as Warguard).
Obviously not a great spec, but the new cast times on both the abs buff and the BT make you a nice hybrid caster [yeah, people will argue that a light eld (offensive hybrid caster) is better than a defensive hybrid caster, but some of the verders arent going to change their specs up for some RvR fun and make due with what they have]
