Camelot herald is pretty devoid of information regarding the tangler sapling line in arboreal spec, was wondering what the advantages are of higher level tangler pets.

I am considering dropping 50 verd to 48 so I can go from 7 arboreal up to 22, that is if an improved root pet is useful. Comments ?

The higher the tangler the longer the root it casts is.

just want to make the point that:

most of the time i prefer the yellow ones, since they are mainly meant as indipendent-interupts and to give some room for kiting. if the rooted chars aint dead or get their root broken the immunity-timer is much shorter, so its possible to reroot the enemy faster.

oh - and never put a damage-shield on your pets, because the enemy can just hit the pet to get free of root for only 20 damage...

I don't think the root pet should be your motivation here. It should be that you're getting a better lifetap while giving up nothing significant.
