Have Alb scouts found an exploit?

Today at Behn, while stepping up to CK to draw the scout fire. A scout named Serem killed me twice hitting for over 1k of damage, through my Nature's shield. I thought I dropped them and scrolled back through the log, NS was not dropped. How the hell did he hit through NS? much less that hard?

NS up and facing him, Endrond hit me with his bow for over 1300k of damage. How are they getting through NS?

clueless replies like the one above seem a good enough reason for valewalkers to get their own board!
I mean. Nature's Shield is infact a melee style, that works like engage.
I've never had any scout break through mine, so I dont know how the scouts are doing it, you arent doing anything to put you in combat? drinking a pot, using arti etc? let alone lifetapping.. Sometimes I think archers can hit through natures shield if they are right above you-

I thought he was talking about the Druid's focus shell. I guess I should have remembered this is VN and done a hearty FU and gone on my way instead of attempting to help.

perhaps those scouts have True Shot, which breaks bubbles(self cast, and pbt), and it could be that it breaks Natures Shield also.

Even if you're interrupted while casting with Nature's Shield on, they can still hit you for a few seconds afterwards (I'm not sure if it's the duration of the interrupt or the time that you WOULD have been casting the spell). Serem killed me a few days ago as well, and that was how. He waited for me to cast, and then he (and his 5 closest scout friends) all assisted on me and basically insta-killed me. Sucked.  I think they're just getting smarter.
Also, Nature's Shield toggles on and off now. I don't think it did that in OF. If it did, I certainly don't remember. Make sure you read the messages when you hit the style.

If they are high enough above you, even if directly in front of you.. they will bypass NS.
Have had it happen to me many times now.

Well I actually witnessed this happening to Lo_Ceur (as in watching from his PC). If it is the case that they can hit through NS based on height differential, then I think this needs to be fixed as this would be an exploit in my opinion. ARTIC? You there?

There was one time I noticed that one archer, Neither Serem or Erndrond, was hitting me from the side. I looked at the past log and did not see where he had hit me on prior occasions of dying. When I was hit by the two afor mentioned, I was not casting, made sure twice before I exited the tower that NS was up, and did not notice the combat style dropping in the log from exit of tower to death blow. Let me add the tower had only upgraded once since it had been taken. All deaths were on the second upgrade. They were faced and at the highest points.

being the last remaining daoc player that doesn't own a buffbot... I have had several instances where a scout was able to punch through NS. Buffs tend to greatly decrease these instances. I've also noticed that the more scouts that are attacking you the more likely there arrows are to punch through. And for the noob VWs, they CAN and WILL shoot you while casting.

Your guys NS is fudged up or something, i've never once had an arrow pop thru NS unless i was casting or something.

As far as I know, buffs have nothing to do with nature's shield block rates. I've stood in front of towers unbuffed with multiple scouts going at me and not gotten hit once, then gotten buffs and done the exact same thing with the same results.
