ally heals |

| Hi, this has probably been posted before but I can't find it anywhere. Does the ally cast the HoT spell on itself or just other people in grp and you? And about how much does it heal for? Or does the heal get stronger the higher up you get in lvls? Thanks for answering if you do lol... |

Got my chanter to 12 yesterday and got my ally (yay). Thought it was awsome when the pet casted hot on me, and when I out-meleed an oj mob cause the pet kept me healed, but I was really annoyed that he didn't heal himself up or cast hot on himself. It's quite annoying cause I'm mana specced so I get huge variance on my pet heals, so it can take a good amount of power to heal my pet, since by the time i'm done with battle he's at a sliver of health. Oh well. "The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?" |

The ally will cast hot on every member of your group and will heal them if they get below 40% health. Ally will do this in the middle of battle even stopping his attack to do so. The heals it casts are small and will only suppliment your group healer. The hot is 4 points a tick and never gets higher. It mostly helps with shortening downtime between fights and giving your healer time to heal. I wouyld not reccomend you depend on your ally to be a main healer, but it can help to keep your group alive. | thanks for the info. That is annoying...I am enchantments speced so I was like " yay...my pet will tear through stuff and have a hot." Oh well I will get the heal proc soon enough lol. Ty again. |

Do his heals get better though? Cause I can solo ojs and just melee them and the ally keeps me healed quite well :) "The problem with America is stupidity. Heal seems variable, sometimes he seems to heal me for a lot and sometimes just for a bit.

honestly if u are just going into straight melee with mobs then u are seriously making little use of your class abilities. Even if you are enchantment spec, u should still nuke with your base nukes to start out with, going into straight melee with an enchanter isn't a very pretty sight.

When i'm going melee is when there's one mob left, he's at half health due to resisting my QC PBAOE. I can't nuke since one pbaoe got his attention on. "The problem with America is stupidity.
