Unfortunately it would not be a good idea to root first. The root immunity timer also stops the snare effect from going on your dd+snare. So basically if you root first, your just a weak dmg Dark runie. Another cool aspect of running sup vs tanks is the PBT, however there is a slight problemo using it. Running around in NF you probably have your speed pulse going which means you cant have PBT going. You can either: A) Waste time that could be used for casting dd+snare to cast your PBT. Or B) Cast a root first and get your PBT up, but as I stated before we know how that would turn out... Oh and did I mention your Dmd SUCKS badly. Coupled with the fact that your cast time is 3.0 seconds. Fortunately there giving that some love in the next patch, reducing the cast time for DD+snare to 2.6 Killing casters on the other hand is a little easier due to NS. Playing in a grp situation as a sup runie is much different. You won't be needing your speed spell as others have it up already, so you're free to run PBT. The DD+snare is very nice for peeling tanks off your healers and other support. Rooting a Det 5 tank is more or lest just a speed bump, but a reacuring DD+Snare spell will take them off the healer long enough for it to do what healers do. And the NS root combo on an enemy caster is just devastating for taking them out of the battle. Nothing sucks more for a healer than getting nearsighted, especially at low lvls. I'll outline for you. SOLO: Sup runie is WEAK(but not unplayable) GRP: Sup runie is STRONG(just as viable if not more, as dark) Hope this helps /banned for 7 days for being annoying.--Marou /banned for 7 days for being too cool--fixed |
