When you are able to use multiple bleeding/dot styles does the damage stack? |

Bleeds do not stack. They just reset I believe. So if you hit PA then hit another bleed style prior to the bleed from PA wearing out, it will replace the remainder of bleed ticks from the PA. I am reasonable sure that any dot's that you use from envenomed weapons will not stack if you were to, for instance, switch to a second envenomed dot weapon prior to the first wearing out. I am not sure if envenomed dot's will stack with procs from armors or weapons, but I doubt it. Perhaps Taz or someone else can provide the definitive word on that. Procs are instantaneous so they don't "stack" per se. They fire once and are done. If you have a DOT running, your DD procs still fire. DOTs will not stack with similar DOTs. If you look each DOT you have is based on a ceratin type of damage. Your poison DOT you put on yor weapons is Body. The alchemy DOT you put on weapons or armor is Matter. The DOT charges that appear on many TOA items are Energy. The DOT on the Ring of Unyielding Will is Spirit. DF offers heat based DOTS. I'm pretty sure Gala or Sheeroe Hills have a few Cold base DOTS. As long as your DOTs use different types of damage, they can run at the same time. For example, a Matter DOT will run consecutively with a Body DOT or a Energy DOT. (Or a Body AND a Energy DOT!) It will not, however, run concurrently with another Matter DOT. The only exception to this appears to be the GOV DOT (body) - which seems to stack with the Body-based poison DOT. So in theory you could have about 6 dots on someone... thats about the time I would run away and let the dots kill them :D |

Squeekz My suit is designed to allow Body (plus GOV), Matter, and Energy DOTS to be up concurrently. Although that rarely in practice, I often have 2 going at the same time. I used to do it all the time in PVE. Get three DOTS running then crip, back off, sit down and watch the mob die. The best I've done is have 4 at once: Poison, Matter alchemy, Energy charge and a Spirit DOT (weak) from Ring of Unyielding Will. Pretty funny to watch. In RVR I rarely get more than 2 going at once (mostly becaue I am stingy with my Energy DOT charges). Even then, 2 DOTs running at once can ruin someone's day.
