Lifebane useable in Cathal?

Just wondering. Im rr3 now, on the cv shade, and i thought id have 50 composite env for lifebane.. but apparently not.
37 spec
11 from gear
2 from rr
and i only have 49 total env somehow 
but my friend told me he got hit by lifebane in CV.... is this true that you can, or cant use LB in CV?

You won't get +11 from gear at level 49. Need 50 for the 11.

u still cant raise your env passed your char level to my knowledge...
49 env is then the max env you can have in terms of using poisons~
but maybe not

isn't +10 from items the max for level 49?, but i don't know, i haven't messed around with sub-50 toons for years.

my nightshade is currently IN CATHAL and can use lifebane. so YES you can. you need to spec 37 envenom.
37 + 3(groovy protector bonus) + 10(items, cant get +11 at 49) = 50
edit: the fact that the rr11 ns above me doesnt know this kinda made me laugh  no offense

like i said i have never played/SCd an under-50 character since my nightshade was in thid like 5 years ago. And even then i only played BGs all of about 2 days. 
I know a level 40 nightshade can APPLY lifebane on a weapon. But I've always seen conflicting posts about whether lifebane would actually proc with a level 49 character wielding it since the level requirement says level 50. I'll believe you if you say it works angry

Ah okay! doh, forgot i can only get +10 from gear cause im not 50  pretty dumb of me~

if you apply it yourself it has no requirement, if you apply it for someone else and trade it to them it becomes a proc that "requires level xx" where xx is the level of the poison.

Doesnt that apply to the same for the user as well? I never said that lifebane couldnt be applied by a sub level 50, just that the poison wont go off because the person isnt level 50. I dont know because this has never been an issue for me, I was level 50 when I acquired the use of lifebane, and I dont play bg chars, ive been level 50 since before SI came out and me being rr11 and not knowing the intricacies of nub ns stuff that hasnt concerned me in years is really irrelevant to anything i could possibly do. Unless they have changed it, you cant apply a poison to an enemy that is a higher level then you. Last time this was a concern for me, that was the case, I have seen nothing conflicting that posted anywhere since. I laugh at you, thinking a rr11 would give 2 quirts of piss about sub 50 stuff for a bg made for people who cant hack it in NF, no offense.

No, CV isnt for people who cant hack it in NF. Sure, some of that may be true of SOME PEOPLE, but all of CV? hell no.
CV is a nice change of pace from NF. Its alot more solo/druo friendly, and takes ALOT LESS TIME to be able to compete, and you are able to get alot more fights then you can in NF.
People respect 1v1s in CV > People do not in NF.
People team up on the person that jumped in a 1v1 in CV. >people dont in NF.
CV is a soloers haven > NF is not.
No towers > 4 towers around every keep also.
Old emain > new frontiers.

Lifebane = yes
Usable in both Leirvik and in Cathal
Someday I'll have to make a vid of this.
Also each poison that's applied carries a level requirement of the person that applied it. This means if a level 45 person applies a poison to a weapon, a level 30 person can not use it.

The question is pretty much answered, but I like to add this if anyone still not totally clear about how this works :P
3 scenarios for a lvl 49 Cathal NS:
- you got 50 composite envenom, like 37(lvl) + 10(from gear) + 3(from RR) then YES u can use Lifebane in CV.
- you got BELOW composite 50 envenom but another lvl 49 WITH composite 50 in envenom apply the Lifebane for you then YES u can use Lifebane in CV.
- you got BELOW composite 50 envenom and another level 50 NS apply Lifebane to all your weapons before porting to CV then NO u cant use Lifebane in CV.
So only if a level 50 apply the Lifebane for you, you wont be able to use it coz it say in delve "Level 50 required" .. much like above poster pointed out.. the level on the poison itself has nothing to do with if you can use it or not.
Another thing to consider if u gonna rely on a friend doing the applying is the dmg will be pretty crap
the NS with composite 50 using Lifebane will hit for his cap on every tic
while the other NS who had his friend apply it for him will hit for 37,42,28,53 etc
Very much like if u are a caster and use baseline nuke but your specc points are in another specline
