Is it a myth or can you actually do it?
Is it worth it to do it if you are able?
How would you do it if it was possible?
Enchanting Dragonsworn armor is like 120g a pop just curious if there is an alternative even if it involves some work.

Take a golden imbued dust (I hope that's the right one, just look for the one that costs 1G 26S~) and combine it with the armor you want the bonus on.

I have always used Silvery glowing dust for 32 silver, but having spellcrafted one suit of lvl 51 Scale after 1.91 went live, using the Silvery glowing dust to enchant only gave a 20% enchantment instead of the usual 35% for level 51 items. So I had to use the Silvery ensorcelled dust for 64 silver.
Stealth nerf? But then I don't remember the last time I enchanted anything of Scale. Most of my Hibs wear cloth, leather or reinforced. I didn't think the type of material mattered except level. Tho I know enchanting armor with more absorb (like plate in Alb) costs way more to enchant if using the NPC Enchanter. But I haven't used an NPC Enchanter since the old days on Guin with my Paladin and saw how expensive it was.

that's all I do, if the cheap dust isn't enough, buy another one and repeat imbuing it until you hit 35% (or whatever the max for that piece is). It's been like this for a couple years now so if they were going to fix it I'd think they would have gotten around to it by now.

Yeah, I heard that too when I was on the classic server so I bought 8 for 16 silver and combined them -> woops, 17% bonus, woops 27% bonus - I already thought I MOD: masked profanity up my new, first SC, luckily you can just combine again so I used better dust this time.
Use the one for 1gold 26silver and you'll always get 35% bonus from my experience.

depends on the piece, the amount you need to spend depends on the sellback of the item you're enchanting, so for cloth or leather you'll get 35% on most pieces with just the 32 or 64 silver dust or less. Once you get into legendaries or chain/plate and chestpieces it gets a tiny bit more expensive.

same merchant that sells the spellcrafting ingredients, on the housing merchants it's the 2nd page. In the cities I think they're on the alchemy merchant who is standing close to the spellcraft merchant.

I just use the home Enchanter merchant to enchant the 5th slot armor I SC. Gives 35% bonus, and I don't have to mess with anything.

<<<<<
What I've found:
Hauberk : 64s dust.
Legs, Helm: 32s dust.
Gloves, boots: 8s dust.
Sleeves: 16s or 24s, depending.
Weapons: 64s or 1g28s, depending.
Shields: 8s.
In any case, the amount is so trivial as to be meaningless. Whenever I do an SC job, I offer to do the enchantment. If the customer doesn't take me up on it, I ask him to let me know what it cost them when they enchant it.
Then I tell them what I would've charged - 6g for a complete suit...though actually I don't even bother to charge that much - I just soak up the 2g cost in my normal profit.
