Question: Confusion & Pets
|
Confusion insta-kills Theurg pets, I know that much.
I've been told that it will cause controlled pets to lose their target and return to their summoner, but I haven't had the presense of mind to test this in any fights yet with so much else going on that I need to handle.
Any input along these lines? Is what I've been told true, or is it a load of bull?

RE: Question: Confusion & Pets

I remember using it solo on my minstrel when I fought intercepting sms, and I think it just bounced around from target to target like when you confuse PvE mobs, often times aggroing mobs in the area. Not sure but I think it would sometimes try to attack the owner but ended up just not swinging instead just wasting time. Was a long time ago so not sure.

Don't really use it much in RvR (though I should) - But I think they run back to their master. Not sure of they actually attack random mobs etc...

from my experience it stops pets from attacking their target until the player resends it

Thanks.
Looks like I'll have to start using it on those pesky RR5 Cabalist pets.

It's really useful against those rr5 pesky cab pets, as a lot of times people with pets do exactly as my druid's last name suggests: PetandForget.
I'm still not sure what it does to animist pets, but you don't have to worry about that unless you are on Mordred
