Well i am specced the unconventional 41 nat, 35 regrow and i was wondering if there is a way to have my buffbots spec STR/CON to overwrite my pets self STR/CON. It is a little annoying when i can't overwrite a grey self buff. Chanter pets have the same issue but they have the choice of which lvl of pet they cast. Anyway we can get this added for druid?

The reason you can't overwrite the buff is because yours is too low. As a 40 nurt druid, I can't overwrite it either. If I swap into my buffing gear, I'm then able to.

My buffbot can't even overwrite it with yellow specs +25% enhancement.

My buffbot is lvl 50 +25% buff bonus and I can buff my pet as much as I want. Best is to buff pets with purp only, cause of the not existant cap limit on them.

Tried buffing with a 50 nurt bot today and it says the target already has the effect. AF seems to work just fine, just str/con.

Because purple +25 is a hell of alot higher then yellow +25
Pets are not capped on buff bonus, like players are. Thus purple buffs > yellow buffs, always, on pets. (asuming same buf%) Odds are with that str/con buff on the pet, its pre-set to be a purple buff, just appears grey.

Well my yellow specs with +25% are hella better then the grey con spec that the pet casts, so your point is moot.
I have a 5L5 druid so i know how pet caps and such work. Just can't see why yellow's won't overwrite a grey spell but red will.

Like said before, The pet self casted buff has more "Value" than yellow specs. Doesn't matter what the icon looks like... It has a bigger value, therefore you can not overwrighting with your smaller buffs.
Why does yellow bard speed overwrite purp caster speed?

Well, with 50 nurture (40 base, +7 from realm rank, and 4-5 from random items), +25% to buffing, my YELLOW s/c overwrites the pet s/c.

If you inspect the spell library at camelotherald.com, you'll see the following:
Enchanter top speed - Maximum Effervescence - Level 45 - 153%
Bard 2nd tier speed - Clear Field - Level 33 - 189%
