And does it stack with the druid's nature damage shield reflect also?

Yep. It's a small amount of added damage, but it's damage.
Keep in mind though that with the baseline shield, you lose the ability to control whether or not the pet is in combat, and you won't be able to use MCL or a power font if you need them.
You can turn off the druid one just by cancelling the druid's concentration though, so that's not an issue so much.

It used to be a very bad thing to use baseline caster Damage shield on a focus pet, as it would substantially drop the DPS of the focus shield, but now that they've fixed that, definately stack as many damage shields as you want on your pet
