Biggest thing that bugs me is I drop speedwarp and rr5 other direction while a charging tank runs right through my speedwarp and catches up to me cause he has more end.

Speedwarp needs to break charge.

Send your feedback and ask for "Charge" to get a speed increase to speed-99 so that it can *negate* ML abilities, unique RA abilities a little faster than it does currently. Or maybe ask for the Charge RA to change to a teleport ability that teleports the tank 20 feet above his target and does a butt bomb damage to the target when he falls. Tank love is already absurd as it is so why not? happy

There is a difference. With AL you can still be interrupted.

Anyway do any of you feel that your usage of the ability will now change or will you use it as you do now and just not worry about Purge or other abilities dropping it?

this sounds good...i tended to not use it too much because of it breaking, but this should definitely help with getting away from tank trains and whatnot happy

with AL i can still be interrupted but i can count tons of situations i'll love it and it will be absolutely easy mode and ,say it, OP



it's better not to attract the attention of mythic,cause it means nothing if it is right or wrong but if they get too many whine posts and feedbacks about something they dont solve it, they just nerf it into oblivion.

I can see this change being too strong in 1v1 situations but the RA is still worthless if you're fighting near a speedwarp :/ When I use AL it's more a 'get the hell away from that tank train' ability rather than a kite and cast move, so it's pretty rare that I even want to cast again before the duration is up.

It's a step, just seems like the wrong step. Nice to know Mythic is looking at it, at least.

One cool thing I see from this is how you can cast and cc won't affect you. So if a mana eld cast this right as he started a moc bomb he would be unaffected by any cc for 10 seconds, that's 10 seconds of uninteruptable, uncc-able pbae'ing.

I had thought of trying that also since I'm now spec mana atm. Right now I use it to get out of harms way but also use it if my bard's SOS is down and I need to run in and bomb.

And don't worry, I'll keep bugging them about the Speed Warp issue. Its mentioned on the TL report, so we'll see what they say about it when we get the feedback for the last round of reports.

Since this ability is effected by SW and other ML's then the timer needs to be changed. it should be on a 5 minute timer.

thats a pretty useless change imo. who's gonna stand there casting while its up for only 10 seconds. really only use AL to get away from tanks which is completely useless since speed warps break AL.

As I recall, at NF launch, AL was "unbreakable".

Then players realized that casting spells cancelled the ability. Fine. I believe we were told this was "by design" (interesting....given the most recent changes/spin).

Then it was discovered that speedwarps negate it, too. Ummm...not so fine. At all.

Then other things: purge, using champion melee resists, how it functions re: charge, etc. Again, not so fine.

Mythic seems to keep dancing around AL's implementation, and I think with this latest change, they got it wrong *again*.

I don't think that Elds should be able to cast damage spells and keep AL active. (Then again, I have major issues with the BD rr5, which I think is far more egregious). I have an Eld, and while I don't think this change is unbalancing, I also don't think it's really appropriate.

Instead, fix the bloody speedwarp issue. Enough already. Really. Let the ability be used defensively, not to make a MoC'ing caster un-ccable, but to enable the caster to escape pursuers. I dare say that if speedwarps cancelled the theurgist RR5, for instance, that there would be an outcry there as well. And it would be on the money, too.

Fix other effects that drop AL, some of which I mentioned above. But deal with warps.

I'm sick of posting about this, it's pretty much a no-brainer.
