my shaman has a ws of 878 with 336 str, it says i should have 910

One question tho:

Why is there a WS calc. on healers/shamans (in mid), but not for our casters?

2) Caster classes excluded from calculation - for obvious reasons.

Isn't that the same obvious reason?

kk got ur point Keel, i'll update it to fix this problem.

Bonehead, there are 2 reasons for it ..1st is that i dont have data for casters, and 2nd is that they dont usually engage with staves in melee...except maybe BDs.

What i've been wondering for a while, is there also a website which calculates your weapon damagecap? by entering info like: str/dex/quick/rr/+skill/weapon spec etc.

Fully buffed, I have 357 str and 1982 ws

The calculator returned 1973 ws

An error of 0.45%, so within the margin quoted.

Interestingly, it also has the same difference (9) between actual and calculated value for my unbuffed str of 202. If other people find they get the same difference between actual and calculated value for their buffed and unbuffed damage stats, then you may be able to apply a correction factor to the base value to eliminate the error.

first i entered "str".. then i tried lotsa different stuff, in lots of different places... nothing worked :C

try typing your actual str there instead for example : 357
ie your chars str value
