Lag hack and speed hack are not built into the game. My point is the fact that it is legal to do that it may not be the an honorable (if you wish to use that word) thing to do. But neither is AJ'ing or 2 vs 1'ing, and again.

I myself have done this a few times for a few lower RR friends to help them out. I remember in fact one time I did this to an armsman's weapon, and he used it when he got jumped by a bled bridge defence stealth group, 4 or 5 people jumped on him iirc and he used the mez blade and killed them all.

So the moral of the story is sometimes you have to use these legal but cheese type moves to combat the gayer/gayest type situations.

Besides Vlad, if you never jumped him 2 vs 1 you wouldn't have even known he had a mez blade.

Either way I'm done with this thread, I've expressed my points and you yours, its only turning into more of a bitch fest and as we all know, it's only entertaining for the first or second day.

I'm not a gill hater. We used to be guildies before I deleted and went to mid. He's a good player imo. But you are gonna come here and attack vlad for a 2 vs. 1 and obviously defend gillgamesh for bullshit cheesy tactics??? I just want to let you know that gill has attacked me several times when i was solo and he had a few friends.

omg i do recall us running 4 and u guys runnin 4 the other day and yes iI SL;ed u guys on the mini and u guys ran. The only times we got the pleasure of seeing u guys was when we were at least 2 to 1 outnumbered.

Just a side note for ya Vlad. You keep pointing out slam and shield trip as part of the scouts I win buttons. The only thing to purge against a scout is stun, so all the hype about slam..is for nothing imo. Purge is saved just for slam in a fight with a scout. So slam is purged 95% of the time, it also takes 25% endurance IF you can even land it. With evade 8 it usually takes 3-4 attempts to actually land slam, so when we actually get it off, we're ~50% endurance.

Shield trip is one of the lamest abilities in the game imo. All it does is snare a person (not root like the herald says its supposed to) for 10 seconds, you cant attack for 15 seconds and cant restealth for 20 seconds...so...not really sure what the complaint about shield trip is.

Yes we have IP, imo thats really the only thing that allows a scout to stand in melee for so long aside from MoB. But prior to the dual wield vs shield nerf, we HAD to spend points in MoB just to be able to block SOMETIMES.

When going up against 2 people, the only thing zephyr is good for is prolonging your death. Since it takes so long to melee somebody down, the other person is already out of the zephyr and landing back styles on you before your target is ~50% health.

People still exploit the shit outta zephyr btw. You zephyr somebody and the very second it stops 1k units away, you get nailed with back styles. Now that we cant hit them while in zephyr its a useless ability, at least before we could still dmg them before they landed the back styles when zehyr was done.

First of all Zephyr is bugged, Not exploited, atleast from what I can tell. I cant tell you how many times ive been zephyred and I stood right on top of the person who zephyred me. Sometimes it does zephyr you away. Sometimes it just leaves you there. Mythic's coding at its best.

As far as the rest of your story your forgeting 1 thing. Mos 5 + bow which all scouts have enough points to have atleast some decent bow. 30-35. So with the fact that you can pick your targets at range and see all stealthers with mos5. Umm you still have a superior advantage.

Course you could just camp Mid Laby entrance with a reaver ........... Wink

Good point, when I did have MoS5 I could actually use my bow to start fights, but I'm not high enough RR (only RR6) to have MoS5 plus purge2, IP2, FE3 (to help with the 35 bow spec) and MoB1. So I only have MoS3. But you're right, the higher RR scouts do have those options.

Camp laby with my reaver you say?

Hmmmm....

Course my reaver still needs 3 very expensive items (Ring of the Heavens, Ring of Moirai, Black Water Belt), one of which actually isnt on any CM. Stupid Black Water Belt fits perfectly to finish off his temp.

Lol, you talking about at blend tower? Cus I have only been on agramon twice in the last month, both times was on my cab heading into laby to farm Mythirians. That was funny at the tower though, I had no idea who was all there. Mids just took that tower and I saw a couple casters in there so I was gonna stand on one of the broken walls to try and snipe him off the balcony.

One caster comes out the front door and I draw my bow, then I see him take dmg so I stop and see another scout on another wall. I let him have his kill while mumbling to myslef that I lost rps cus he was faster on the draw.

Then I see a hunter shoot at the scout and the scout takes off, so I draw my bow once again to shoot at the hunter. Once again I see my target take dmg before I get my shot off so I stop, there was another scout there. I leave it alone and watch the hunter chase the first scout down and kill him, then turn to the second scout.

Then I see a SB pop on the scout with the hunter on him so I draw my bow to help, the hunter and SB take out the scout, I finish off the hunter (was only like 1-2 rf shots cus he was hurtin) then the SB charges at me.

Then while I'm fighting that SB, another comes up to perf me so I zephyr the fisrt SB and hit the second to avoid PA, while I was fighting him another hunter started shooting me.

Thats when I see this reaver appear out of the rocks like he was stealthed or something (that rock formation and dog form is a good hidy hole). He drops TWF and forces the hunter and SB to back out, while in TWF another SB came up to try and perf me but TWF hit him just before he could hit me.

The reaver was handling the hunter and SB while I tried to finish off the last SB still inside TWF with me, but by then Purge, IP, FZ and my endo were all gone. I had to pop Scout Dextera bow to get enough endo to pop phase shift and barely lasted just long enough for the reaver to kill the 2 he was on and bomb the last SB on me. I lived with 5% health left.

But yeah, I had no clue he was there, as soon as I saw the second SB I thought for sure I was dead. I didnt see any of the names cus I was busy pooping myself. I would have waved had I known you were there.

I see you're still getting lots of love Vlad. I may actually play a little when this next patch comes out...just to see if the changes to archery (and scouts in general are worth a crap). We'll see.

I honestly don't think there gonna up the dmg but maybe give you a few kewl lil "magic" dmg arrows. Who knows though. They may actually fix some classes and prove me wrong.
